Where the money comes from

A gift counts as out of state when the donor address on the filing is outside Idaho. A gift from a political committee counts by that committee's address. On this 2026 base, 47.2% of Yes money and 21.6% of No money came from outside Idaho. Measured over 2025 and 2026 together, which adds the Yes committee's 2025 gifts (most of them from Idaho), the Yes share is 41.0% ($2,377,228 of $5,798,908).

How money moves through other committees

Money that passes through a committee mixes with that committee's other money, so the filings show the amounts at each step without tying a given dollar to a given expense.

Government That Works PAC (Washington, DC) → $950,000 to the Yes committee: $650,000 on 9/21/2026; $250,000 on 10/2/2026 (pending); $50,000 on 10/15/2026 (pending). It is the largest donor to the Yes committee. Sunshine: Idahoans United for Women and Families Inc.. The PAC's own FEC reports list the first two gifts as payments from its non-contribution account: October monthly report (amended) and pre-general report (amended). The October 15 gift falls after the latest FEC reporting period.
Idahoans United for Women and Families → $720,500 to the Idaho State Democratic Party: $245,500 on 10/16/2026 (pending), $375,000 on 10/20/2026 (pending), $100,000 on 10/26/2026 (pending). Idaho State Democratic Party → $616,682 in independent expenditures supporting Prop 1, all in October 2026. Check the numbers

Every figure on this page comes from public filings: Idaho Sunshine (sunshine.voteidaho.gov) for the Idaho committees and the FEC (fec.gov) for Government That Works PAC. Idaho requires no regular report between the September monthly report and the election, so large late gifts appear only on 48-hour notices until the October reports arrive on November 10. The earlier Prop 1 Money Tracker covers data through August 14, 2026 and the 2024 open primaries measure. The money network graph shows these committees with their other connections. Its node totals count every recorded money flow in and out of a committee across all years and filing systems, so they run higher than the 2026 receipts on this page.
