Yes, I agree with  that picture because that is a lavatory/bathroom sink on that wall, but I have not seen them put in a 
bar sink or kitchen sink the bedroom along with the bathroom sink.

Wow people put them in all the time especially in master bedroom all the time.  They are in almost every 
vacation home I go to.  Double sink in the middle 7 or 8 foot wide open to bedroom.    Toilet room on the 
right and shower room on the left.  
But this is a good example.   I stayed in a place just like this last year.   4 of the zoning officials would all be 
in vilolation of the proposed changes.  It was a pretty funny meeting.

Mike stated at the p&z meeting that you said you had never had a sink in a bedroom the entire time you 
have been a building official.  
 
People put them in masters all the time.  I can't imagine that is true.
