Listen to what Mike said to p&z and read the code.
He actually calls it a sink and the whole time he said sink. The new zoning code is proposing
that no one could’ve put a sink In a bedroom, any kind of sink. He said you told him that there’s
has been no sinks in bedrooms On any plans that you remember.
I don’t know what’s gotten into Mike but this has become something he really wants to get done
and he’s not sharing all the entire truth with the planning and zoning. He’s manipulating the
conversation to get them to do something that will be damaging for affordable housing in town.
I know you have no part of this and could care less, but he is using you as an example of why it
It is not a problem and quoting you.
For your code to sink as a sink It does not specify the kind of sink.
I agree we should make changes to the code but the board should have the entire truth to make
a decision.

Yes, I agree with that picture because that is a lavatory/bathroom sink on that wall, but I have not seen them put in
a bar sink or kitchen sink the bedroom along with the bathroom sink.

Wow people put them in all the time especially in master bedroom all the time. They are in
almost every vacation home I go to. Double sink in the middle 7 or 8 foot wide open to
bedroom. Toilet room on the right and shower room on the left.
But this is a good example. I stayed in a place just like this last year. 4 of the zoning
officials would all be in vilolation of the proposed changes. It was a pretty funny meeting.

Mike stated at the p&z meeting that you said you had never had a sink in a bedroom the
entire time you have been a building official.

People put them in masters all the time. I can't imagine that is true.
